During my internship, I was tasked with developing a structured IT security checklist for Google Workspace. The purpose was to provide engineers with a reference for evaluating important security settings and identifying opportunities to improve an organisation's security posture.
The checklist covered several areas of Google Workspace administration, including authentication, administrator access, email security, data protection, endpoint management, and monitoring.
Researched multi-factor authentication, password policies, administrator account protection, login challenges, and account recovery settings.
Explored SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, as well as anti-phishing, anti-spam, attachment protection, and email encryption capabilities.
Investigated external sharing restrictions, public link sharing, shared drives, download restrictions, and sensitive information protection.
Explored device management for Android, iOS, and computers, including device enrolment, screen lock requirements, compliance settings, and remote removal of company data.
Researched administrator privileges, audit logs, security alerts, third-party application access, and incident response considerations.
I researched security recommendations, compared them with Google Workspace administration capabilities, and organised the findings into a structured security checklist.

I assisted with the migration process and gained practical exposure to configuring and understanding network monitoring within Zabbix.
This project strengthened my understanding of infrastructure monitoring, the importance of accurate device information, and how monitoring tools support IT operations.

A mental wellness application prototype developed through teamwork and human-centred innovation.
MindMatch was a team project focused on exploring how digital technology could improve access to mental wellness support.
The concept involved creating a platform where users could discover mental health resources, connect with professionals, and access peer support.
Working on MindMatch gave me opportunities to collaborate with team members, develop ideas, consider user needs, and contribute to a shared project outcome.
Our project was awarded second place at Temasek Polytechnic's INNOV8 2025.
This experience helped me appreciate the importance of teamwork, communication, creative problem-solving, and considering user needs when developing technology solutions.
